Hi to the list. In snow Leopard, in mail preferences, there seems to be a choice for default mail reader, and the default choice is mail 4.1.
I was optimistic about this because of the less than optimal way in which messages are often rendered. I chose Safari for the mail reader, but noticed no differences in the way messages were read, and could not really determine a way to tell which program was being used as the mail reader. Has anyone ever played around with these settings and gotten other programs to work as the default mail reader?
