Catching up on some mail while I was out and about. Didn't know if 
anyone had heard about this. Sounds like they want to push WCAG 2 and an 
EU standard for web accessibility. If it flies that's a good thing since 
it will mean more sites will work well with Safari and VO. The US is 
still a patchwork with no federal law or case law requiring 
accessibility except for government sites. Maybe the EU can show that 
it's reasonable and viable to have all sites built accessibly.
