Hello all:
I finally took the plunge and updated to Yosemite. All has gone smoothly, but I
am uncertain about file vault encryption.
As a matter of principle, it sounds great. I just tried to use Spotlight to
search through Macvisionaries messages to see if there has been discussion of
this already, and only one message came up, and I know there must be others,
but I cannot seem to get a handle on the new spotlight; I am not getting a list
of relevant items.
If anyone could share with me, off-list if this has been covered before,
whether there are any VO issues, or any convenience issues, anything
problematic whatsoever, it would be much appreciated.
The advantages to using it are obvious; are there any disadvantages?
Thanks.
Christine
