Thanks Sabahattin.  I must have missed this one when looking at the new 
features in Yosemite.  This is an excellent bonus to using Apple Mail IMO.

You don’t need to do anything special to use MailDrop; just make sure you’re 
signed in to iCloud from System Preferences, and if you like, check the 
Advanced preferences in Mail to ensure it’s switched on (which it is by 
default).  It works with any email provider, and not just iCloud Mail.
