Hi,

One last thing before going to the Apple Store. Try an SMC reset. To
accomplish this, plug in your power adaptor to the wall and to your MBP. Hold
down the left-side shift-control-option keys at the same time as pressing the
power button. Release them all. Wait about five seconds then try the power
again. If that doesn’t do anything, then it sounds like it may be the logic
board and that means a trip to the Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service
Provider. Not good news either. I’ll stop there.

Later...

Hi:

I've tried the suggestions that you guys sent me, including everything that's
in the online support article. Unfortunately, my MacBook will still not turn
on. The speech is not muted, as I can tell that the light on my screen is it
coming on. I also have the control F 11 and F 12 Comanced make sounds when I
increase and decrease the volume, as that is how I can sometimes tell whether
my computer is on and I'm just turned off voiceover for the use of someone
else. I hear no chime or anything when I try powering up the computer. I guess
I'm going to have to visit the Apple Store, which is always a nightmare! LOL.

Any further suggestions would be appreciated. :-)

Best,
Ezzie Bueno
