Okay, Just how to say this I do not exactly know. I bought Sound Forge Pro for the Mac, and, I am having the case of discovering that much of what I thought I had, I don't in fact have. Yes, some major accessibility issues have been address: for example, one can now manipulate regions and markers and one can use presets also. While I am happy about this, and while the 6 band paragraphic mastering equalizer is a mighty big plus, I find myself dissapointed at the noise reduction and click and pop supression. Yes, they work, but, the Algarythms which Izotope has chosen to license for Sound Forge fall very short of what I quire. The algarythms used in RX 2 are so much better: so, I keep and use those instead. RX three is impossible and won't even open. Asside from all that, what I'm looking for is a way to take the pitch of a recording and bend it veriably either up or down. So far, the Apple provided AU pitch controls seem not to be having any effect at all. Amadeus Pro, as good as it truly is, cannot make this happen: at least, I have yet to find a way to do it. So, anybody out there able to recommend a good AU (audio unit) plug in that will allow verible pitch? I'd rather not go with audasity on this. Thanks.
Sorry for the rant, but, I'm sort of at a loss here. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray Still a happy Mac, Verizon Wireless iPhone 6+ and Apple TV user!
