When you first install the dropbox app, it will normally create the
folders in the user's home folder. The app can be accessed, but you
have to do a few things. Move to the status menus, then use the
voiceover navigation keys to move to the dropbox icon, the regular
arrow keys do not work here, I'm not sure why Apple does not fix that
bug and allow operating system keyboard access to all status menus, but
currently that's the way it is. Once on the dropbox item, press control
option command F5 to move the mouse to the voiceover cursor, then press
control option shift space to do a mouse click. This will open the
dropbox application dialog box where you can do things such as change settings.
Original message:
I have a friend who has a Mac running the latest OS. She is tying to
get her Dropbox bo be a viewable folder in her home folder. Since the
dropbox app isn’t friendly, how can we do this?
Thanks in advance.
