When you are in groups.google.com and have MacVisionaies open, it should
take you here:

About 15 tab stops from the top of the page is a button called My
Settings. Hit the space bar to pop this open and then down arrow to find
"My membership and email settings for this group" and hit return.
This will pop a settings modal with a bunch of things you can change.
Tab four times and you should land on your email delivery preference pop
up button. Mine says "Notify me for every new message…" Hit the space
bar and arrow up and down to the one you want, which it sounds like is
"Send daily summaries" which the rest of the world would call "digest
mode". There is also an option to send you combined updates with 25
messages per email. Once you've found the setting you want hit enter.
Two more tab stops away is the Save button. Hit enter on that and you
should be good to go. If you change your mind or think you might have
messed something up, one more tab stop takes you to the cancel button or
you can hit the escape key to do the same thing at any time.
