Hi all, I just wanted to send an update and ask for some action among those of you interested in this issue.
First, my original contact never did follow up with me, so George, thanks for posting the Apple Care number. I was fortunate this afternoon to connect with someone at apple Care who is also on the accessibility team. He was very nice and very helpful, though he was ultimately unable to resolve the issue. He said that currently the watch does not provide sound or haptic feedback at the end of a workout. He has suggested that anyone who would like to see this feature, whether or not you currently own an Apple watch, please send comments requesting that feature to http://www.apple.com/feedback. So, if having some sort of haptic or sound alert to indicate the end of a timed workout is something you would want to see in the Apple Watch, I hope you will take the time to submit feedback. He said, as we all know, that the more feedback received on a given software issue, the higher a priority it is given.
