When I am in word, I go to help, then using the trackpad I flick down with one finger to I get to send feedback and doubble tap with one finger on the trackpad to open the window.
I can not access this with voice over keys and arrows or just even arrows -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Eileen Sent: Tuesday, May 19, 2015 15:07 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Office 2016: Sending Feedback On Found Bugs Hello, First, I want to say that I did open the help menu hoping to find a support or send feedback button, but that option was not listed. That's why I posted on the list. I know this was discussed before, but I have misplaced the info on that email address. Secondly, here are some of the items that I guess I'm calling bugs or are not accessible with VO. 1. I typed a few misspelled words in a doc. The spell checker is better than before, but when I open it VO annnounces "image," which gives me no idea on which word is not spelled right. Only when I tab over to the suggestions table do I know the word in question. 2. I created a table of 3 rows and 3 columns, but I can't do much more than have VO read this to me. There is no grid to navigate in or out of a cell. I know that there was another recent post on accessing tables, so I won't discuss this one further. 3. I use bullets in my docs from time to time. I could access the bulleted/numbers dialog and select the bullet type I wanted to use. However, when back in a doc and creating my list, I couldn't tell if the bullets were placed infront of the text where I wanted it to be. This is something that one has access to in Word 2010 or 2013 with the Pc screen readers of choice. 4. When creating instructional materials for work, I use either 3-4 different heading styles. I did open the styles dialog and tabbed over to the list table. When I interacted with the table, I only had 7 choices and heading 1-2-3-4 were not in the choices. In previous Office 2016 Preview, I could at least scroll through many rows, but find these options. There isn't a simple solution like on the Windows side in Office 2010 or 2013 where one can use a Windows keystroke to add the various heading levels. Maybe someone else can chime in on this one, but it shouldn't be so lavorious to do these attribute changes. Sorry for the long post, but you wanted to know my experience with the new update. I finally got frustrated enough and closed Word 2016 and performed my tasks with Word 2010 where everything works. :) Eileen Sent from my iPhone > On May 19, 2015, at 10:41 AM, george b <[email protected]> wrote: > > First of all what are the bugs?
