Do you have a micro USB cable? If so, connect one end to Apple TV's micro USB 
port and the other end into the computer where iTunes is running. Note: you 
will need power to do this so make sure the power adaptor remains connected and 
is functional. iTunes should then inform you that Apple TV is in recovery mode 
and must be restored. Click "restore", and follow the on-screen instructions.
