Actually, I think the current Grade 2 table could handle italics because you 
start it (unless we are talking about UEB), two italics dots 46 to start and 
then just dots 46 to end. Doesn’t sound too hard to do. Right now if type dots 
46 VoiceOver says underline. Underlining could be done too in the Grade 2 
translator because it is started with dots 456 dash and ended with the 
termination sign, dots 3, 6. Some of the others have their ways which could be 
done also; things like boldface and italics boldface.
