Hi. No, Apple did not take away the ability to download purchased content again. Go to the iTunes Store, and search for the word purchased using the find command of any screen reader you use. It's right there. As far as DRM and Apple music goes, Apple does not put DRM on songs you own. Only the songs that you add to your library from Apple music itself have DRM.
