I just made a strange discovery about the Appstore.
If I launch it from the Apple menu, the download option does not show up for
10.11 in purchases. Launching from the menu must be running it with a
particular switch. So, be sure to launch the Appstore from the applications
folder. I can always find the download option in my purchases when I do that.

It won’t auto download, but you should see a download button. Note that vo
will just say download. Vo-space should start it.

If you are certain that it isn’t there and that there isn’t any other copies of
it somewhere on your system, than it might help to type the following in
terminal:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true

That’s what I would have thought. It is at the top of the list, but there is
no download or install button, and it did not autodownload.

Subject: Re: Cannot install the el Cap beta on a second mac

Hi,

You should be able to re download the installer from your purchases section of
the app store.

Hi.
I neglected to stop the installation long enough to save the install file, and
when I try to access the beta on a second mac there is no download/install
link. I also tried going through the same email, I get a this code has already
been used message.
Anyone know how to install the beta on a second Mac. Or maybe someone has a
dropbox link to the elcap install file?
Thanks.
Bill
