If that is the case with the download button disappearing, has anyone filed
this as a bug?

If not, just make a bootable copy of Yosemite to a USB stick, then go

I installed the beta, and it corrupted my hard drive, to the point
that I had to erase and reinstall Yosemite. Is there any way to try to
