In the set-up process of os on my Mac Book Pro, i am being asked if I want to allow File Vault to encrypt my disk, and second if I want to allow ICloud to Unlock my disk and reset my password. The default is that they are both checked. I am not an ICloud user at this point and don’t have confidence in using the cloud for my personal/private information.
Question -- how safe & accessible are both of these options if I set both of them in motion? Thanks.
