FTP or SCP are probably your friends here.

Enable an ftpd or sshd server on the destination side, create a user and copy 
files using that user.
        If the computers are on the same network segment just use NFS or 
Apple’s networking support and copy the file.

        Bottom line you have the full suite of unix tools available so this 
should be trivial to do.
