Hi, changing the keyboard layout is much too much trouble for something so easy on a Mac. There are a host of accents and other special characters you can enter just by holding down the option key with a specific letter. For example,
• option-e then e again does é. • option-4 gives the ¢ sign. • option-8 gives a bullet Just open a TextEdit document and try some of them out. You'll only need to remember a few that you use often.
