Chris and Anne,
Thanks, its all done. One thing I want to figure tho. On the old
external drive, in addition to the iTunes folder are other folders such
as Applications, System, Users.
On the new is just the iTunes folder. Before I wipe the old drive to
use with Windows I want to make sure its safe to proceed. Not sure how
those folders got there but if the drive is ejected, the Mac runs fine.
If you can shed some light on this, I would be appreciative.

Option held down during launch will tell the app to prompt for the
iTunes library location. Some people have found that when doing a
VO-space in the dock to launch iTunes they held control+option a bit too
long and accidentally triggered the iTunes library prompt. So that makes
it a bit easier to remember.
