Hi, I had upgraded a few days ago and indeed I too had some problems at the very stage you described. I just can’t quite remember what I had done in desperation. I think the trouble is that you have to choose the right key of your previous installation, VmWare 7 to go into the text box that’s on the page and then you will be able to activate the add button. Do look very carefully at the page past the add button because I think that there is another table there with all your previous keys and listen carefully whether any of those keys is actually a link which you need to press. I’m sorry my memory is useless. I also actually wen to my VMWare 7 “about” menu item and copied into clipboard the relevant activation key and pasted it into the key textbook on the page. But again I am so so sorry I can’t remember whether it made the difference. You are right, the web page is confusing and I was so relieved when I finally managed to complete the purchase.
