I found the link to NMP3 Ripper at macupdate:

Interesting that this uses LAME 3.97 to rip.  However, two questios:  
(1) do you know whether this program works under Snow Leopard?  (2)  
The OP asked about ripping the audio from video (don't know what kind  
of video format -- whether this means DVD or a YouTube video) --  does  
NMP3 Ripper have that capability?

I realize your first mention of this program was simply for a good  
program to rip audiobooks for someone who wanted to put them onto a  
Victor Stream, so these are slightly different questions.
