OK, you know, I too use Tiger actually. The search filed I dono, I can't get to it either. A friend suggested doing vo+J to sump from the sources outline, the search field, and the songs table. I've not tried it yet, but supposedly, he thought that may work. As for the store, apparently it'll say something like store area, or something, I don't remember, Mike, can you give him and I both a hand here? Apparently, you gotta interact with that area then go from there. I agree: Apple really dropped a bombshell with this release. I hate the thing, but let's just hope and pray there is still hope. Worst case, there is always vlc, but good luck if you got an IPhone, or an IPod. Frankly, if Apple wants to be that stubborn to make iTunes inaccessible, when it was so darn good in v8, I'm sorry, but, maybe I'm jumpin the gun here, and someone shut me up if i am, but, if it wasn't broken, then excuse my language but then why the hell did they try to fix it! It r'r'really! ticks me off! Especially being I have no way to afford a new Mac with Leopard, and every darn resource I've gone through comes up cold. Frankly, I'm almost ready to give up on trying to get another system. It undoubtedly just wasn't meant to be, but anyway, enough complainig. No one wants to hear that. Try those suggestions, and let me know if they prove to work. Mingwhile I'll play with my tiger machine as well, and post to the list if I find out a work around.

When I go to the Itunes store, I can't find the search field or the store pages. Is anyone else on this list using Itunes with this hardware and software configuration, and if so, have you experienced similar problems? can anyone else suggest why I might be having such troubles?
