It looks like I spoke too soon about my restored voices. It appears that there
is a problem with all of the Ivona voices. I have a few of them. And every time
I try to read a book with an Ivona voice, voice dream crashes immediately.
There is some kind of new addition to the ivona a copyright agreement. I was
able to except that by pretending I was going to buy another voice which I
didn't want. But I did except the agreement. Having done that, I tried using
one of my voices. No joy. I uninstalled all of those voices. I reinstalled one.
I restarted the phone. Still no joy. It is apparent that until something
happens on Winston's and, if you have to put voice dream on a new machine and
you have ivona voices, you are going to be SOL. I did try reading with a
different voice from a different manufacturer, and a red fine. So I know the
problem is specifically with voices from ivona.
