Hello,

You know, sometimes, it's helpful to return to the basics.

As some of you may know, I use the native OS X El Capitan Mail application
via Standard view, complete with the Preview pane being displayed.

Since using El Capitan, I have since wanted to be able to have VoiceOver not
only announce how many unread messages exist in a particular mailbox but to
also announce the total number of messages in that mailbox.

Simply put, using the key combo of VO+F2 causes this information to be
announced.

While I'm certain most on this list new the basic purpose of this command,
apparently, I had forgotten it (smile).
