Hello Gary,

I read your post, very carefully and, with all due respect, from Google's
perspective, there is no problem to resolve.

Simply put, a person can use any combination of letters, numbers, symbols, etc,
so long as it is not used by someone else. Unless there is something I am not
understanding, no one has hacked into your gMail account.

The problem is that, somewhere along the way, someone inadvertently entered
your email address into his account.

Were I you, I would send your namesake a very nice email, explaining the
problem. Unless he likes having someone else receive his emails, I'm certain
he will have Sprint correct the error.

Again, assuming I'm understanding your situation correctly, which is by no
means certain, your problem is with Sprint, not Google.

Mark

Subject: Using a "." period in the username of gmail

Can anyone help? I need gmail support. I use a period between my first and
last name of my gmail email account. I started receiving emails from Sprint
for a new account that someone created using my email account. After calling
Sprint, they said that there’s another user in a different state with the same
gmail account name, except that they don’t use a period between his first and
last name. My account is [email protected], and his is
[email protected]. Does anyone know how I can report this to Google gmail
to get this resolved? I would like to email someone about it, but haven’t had
success finding a support email link, yet.
 Thanks!
Gary
