The easiest way I know is to eject it. It will be on your desktop, unless you've changed that setting, or in your computer folder. So, either press vo-shift-d or cmd-shift-c, find the drive, and press cmd-e to eject it. Once it disappears from the list, it's okay to remove it. I wish the Mac would play a sound, but it can't. > On Oct 16, 2015, at 23:31, Marie Lyons <[email protected]> wrote: > > How do you do this on a Mac? > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "MacVisionaries" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout.
