Chris, You are not missing anything. Sometimes, it's just the price of capitalism; that's putting it nicely.
The truth is, they really want to do away with unlimited data plans and but for the FCC, they would have forced us out of them a long time ago. I think the idea of being forced out of a plan that would not be impacted by enabling a new feature is ludicrous but, logic has no place where greed and power are concerned.
