Hi! I'd accept that response if Cereproc had actually worked well to begin with and worsened with the El Capitan upgrade. Issue is that it hasn't. I'd be more accepting of that response if I was seeing that consistent behavior across applications using these APIs, but I'm not. Changes are made to these APIs since Yosemite, sure, but voices incompatible with El Capitan work fine when being used by VoiceOVer. At least, some do.
Cereproc has never actually worked well at all for me, and I received the same response years ago when I reported the problems I was having. I suspect it's just their implementation that doesn't work well with VOiceOver more than anything else. This can be said for other voices as well, like Cepstral.
