Marie,
How many files or folders are you wanting to move? If not tons, best
bet is to copy to a thumb drive or whatever media you wish to use, then
connect to the Mac and do a paste. If you paste to desktop, you can
organize better from there. You will be done in no time if you do this.
If your media is large enough, you can do it in one step. Forget
compressing the files.
