Hmm, I wonder if this cloning idea will work as a sollution for
installing Enhanced DR-DOS on my Dell GX110. We're putting it on my
Compaq Armada 1750, along with the patches etc, and I want to do the
same thing for the Dell without all the hastle. But back to the Mac,
how do I get the other computer to boot from the drive? Should I use
the second Mac for this or can I use another os like windows? If so,
do I just access it as I would another drive, via my computer, or do I
need to actually have it boot from that drive? If the latter, how do
I do it and should I use the external Mac keyboard on it? If I can
use the second Mac, it seems that I could just access it through
finder or am I missing something? Great idea to go to newegg.com, I
need to get a compact flash card and adapter for my computers there
anyway. Do they make enclosures that work off standard rs232 or
parallel ports or that use a pcmcia card? I know that won't work for
the Mac but it would be good for my other machines.
