I agree. I personally would never do it with vo+M M. Maybe I'm weird, but
that's just me.

If I do a VO M twice, I have to right arrow 9 times to get the time. It’s so

As for telling the time, Vo-M, M, right arrow once is a reflex I’ve got.
Moreover it announces the time in the correct format, i.e. the one set in
System Prefs, as opposed to the U.S. format all the time.
