Are you in classic view, or not? Also, what version of OSX?

Hello everyone,
I’m noticing something quite strange. In one of my accounts, I have a thread
with 16 messages. However, when I get to this thread in my list of messages,
mail becomes busy. Even with my arrowing past the inbox with this thread at
the top of my messages table mail becomes busy. I’ve never noticed it before
with larger threads. Anyone know why this is happening? I’m running a mac
with 16 gigs of ram so surely its not my computer not having enough
resources.
