There’s a pane in System Preferences called Startup Disk where you can choose 
which disk your Mac boots from. You can find it through Spotlight Search as 
well (do a COMMAND+SPACE, enter “startup”, and you should be taken right to the 
result you want). You will then be in an accessible dialog box where you can 
change the startup disk from OS X to Windows. There is then a button which will 
cause your change to be applied and the Mac to restart. To change it back to OS 
X, you can bring up a similar preference pane from within Windows. I don’t use 
Boot Camp at the moment, but from memory it’s in the boot camp control panel 
under the startup tab. This will avoid your having to memorize a key sequence 
that doesn’t speak as you described.
