Hello,
I am running Mac OS 10.11.2 and have been using the English UK Infovox ivox
voices for years without difficulty.

However today I was prompted to update my 4 Infovox voices which I did and
which seemed to all work OK. All 4 voice were downloaded and successfully
installed. Alas VoiceOver then stopped talking and I could not get it to start
talking again. I sought help from my sighed wife who is not familiar with Mac
and I am not familiar with how to drive Mac using sight and a mouse. After a
huge struggle we managed to get VoiceOver talking again with one of the
standard Mac OS voices. It is not a voice which I like but I am very reluctant
to select a different voice in case I go through one of the Infovox voices and
VoiceOver again stops speaking.

Has anyone else updated their infovox voices since 16 December and if so did it
work OK?

I would like to remove all the Infovox voices from the list of Voices available
to VoiceOver so that I can safely explore the Mac OS voices without risking
loss of speech. If I uncheck the infovox voices in the speech tab os system
preferences will that remove these voices from the list of voices available to
VoiceOver?

Ideally I would like to continue using the Infovox voices if I could figure out
why they have stopped working and can do something to get them working again.

I have done several updates of the Infovox voices in the past and did not have
any problems.

Many thanks for any tips….
