The screen is always listening for input in a sense so you can tap even while 
asleep and it activates to the clock face.

I’m not sure how the awake screen option plays in to it other than possibly 
that’s what was clicking for me when it would wake.  Since I’ve made the 
changes the clicking has absolutely stopped.
