When I was running VMware with windows on an old Macbook pro as I haven’t really ran windows with VMware on my I Mac or Mac mini, I could run my braille displays with Bluetooth be it using Voice Over or the screenreader of one’s choice. With windows 7, when you are running that, you need to connect your braille display via bluetooth by connecting it to the bluetooth controller when you are in windows. Once that is connected, you can then close down the VMware and put voice over on and your display should then connect to the Mac automatically. But first you must find the name of your port for bluetooth within windows if you want this to work and whilst using windows, make sure that Voice Over is turned off or it will not work once the VMware is off.
Good luck and a happy new year to all.
