Well I loaded Firefox again tonight. When I installed it a couple days ago, Voiceover had no idea it was there. I do not know what happened but VO was speaking. I did not do much with it as I need to work on another project but may go back to it at a kater date.

I did .look at Preferences. Does not seem to be completely accessible. Perhaps Mozilla will finish it.

1. Firefox on the Mac is still not accessible; disreputable claims to
the contrary not withstanding.

2. Webvisum is dead for both Mac and windows versions of Firefox. Not
even windows users can use it now. For captchas, Rumola:
www.skipinput.com <http://www.skipinput.com>
is where you can get that. So far, it seems to work okay: and,for Mac
users, it's the only solution out there: all others having ggone by the
wayside quite some time ago.

think they did that at the beginning of this month. Don't even get me
started on that rant!

2. It never worked on the IPhone as far as I know.

3. Apparently Singing Sparrow clames to have gotten Firefox to work
successfully on the mac with Yosemite, but when asked for an audio
demo, as no one else at all is having that luck, he's not responded.

So, I'm still not sure.

Chris.

Subject: mac and firefox?

HI. Just downloaded the latest version of firefox. Anyone have any
accessibility tips? or is it still not that accessible? Is anyone able
to use web Visum successfully? If so can someone explain how to
install it? I can get to the install page but when I click install
nothing happens.
ps:
does web Visum work on the iPhone?
thanks
Maria
