Guys,

About a week or so ago, there was a thread someone up here started. They kept
apparently muting their watch when placing their palm over the face.

Well, after my recent disaster with having to reset things, I was going through
this morning setting my watch back up in the Watch app on the phone, and
discovered something really cool that you all might not have been aware is
there.

Under the watch app on the phone, if you go under the My Watch tab, then go to
sound and haptics, the last option in this screen will let you toggle on or off
the ability to completely mute the watch by placing your palm over the face for
3 seconds when an alert is admitted.

So, if this is giving you issues, go in there and shut it off. Don't worry,
that won't prevent you from putting your palm over the thing to lock the
screen. All this seems to do is to toggle it whereby you can't mute the thing
with your palm. Just beware of the disadvantages this could have if you're in
a sticky situation and quickly need to mute the thing, like, yesterday!

Anyway, I hope that this might help someone.

Chris.
