Wow! thanks for this, it was an entertaining, albeit exacerbating read. :) I mean, seriously. If you don't want to download an update, why the **** would you want to download it and let it take up all that space on your device? I have to agree with the comments that talked about Apple losing sight of its original anti-big-brother philosophy.
