This is the first time I have gone into the app store to search for something and check on updates on my MacBook Air since upgrading to El Capitan. When I try to choose “update all” nothing is happening, and I often get a pinging sound, or it says search or some other word on the screen. When I search for something, I use the links or form controls to find the app, then attempt to hit install or choose from the more actions menu, and as soon as I try to use either of these, I get the pinging sound and nothing happens. What gives? Thanks. Christine
