Not at all. On the file, hit vo-shift-m to open the context menu, go to the 
Sharing submenu, and choose Airdrop. Many times, you can also copy/paste 
instead of dragging/dropping. Online tutorials often use drag/drop simply 
because it's easiest for sighted people to do, even though it may not be the 
only way.
