Hello, I will try to make a long story short. I have been a mac user since 2011 and have been using a well known anti-virus with no problems . In October I updated to El Capitan and my hardrive failed . After hours on the phone and repeated trips to the Apple store they were able to get me running again by removing the anti-virus program . I am a little hesitant about putting the same program back into my mac. I was wondering if anyone on the list has any anti-virus suggestions and do I really need one ?
