Hi Simon,
First, try one of the other included ear cushions. They are sized and
maybe a smaller one or larger one will fit better. I know what you mean
though. The only way to get headphones that truly won’t hurt over long
duration is to have them custom molded to your ears. I’ve done this in the
past with extremely expensive headphones but there’s a new company in the local
Mall here selling molded earphones for $230 US which is pretty reasonable. I
believe what they do is 3d print a cover for your existing earbuds that is
based on the mold they take of your ear.
As far as the number of devices, maximum of 8 using only one at a time.
