I had fairly the opposite happen. I added several CD albums, most of which are not available via Apple Music, and they would not sync onto my phone. Investigating a little it seems the Apple support pages indicate that you can’t move personal music around as easily when Apple Music is on. I would love to hear any solutions / details the group has. Best wishes,
