Hi Scott

I did look at the jawbone years ago and thought it was great in size but at the
time limited in features, this appears to have changed with the latest version.

The voyager edge I have I'm only having issues with in one respect and that is
it loses the connection with my 6s+ when I have to make a phone call, that
appears so far to be when I have to actually dial a number and hit call,
otherwise if the number is in my recent or missed calls and I redial then it
seems to be fine.
Other than that, I can't yet fault it for ccall quality and usability

Subject: comparing two headsets, the plantronics voyager and Era by Jawbone

Since I know Mark and a few others are interested in headsets I’m posting this
question to the list and if its not on topic enough please feel free to close
the thread.

My question is this. I’m presently using both headsets. Right now these are
supposed to be the top headsets available. It surprises me how many years they
have remained in this position but that’s neither here nor there.
Both sound good, the plantronics is a lot larger but were I think the
Era totally falls apart is on the software. It does all sorts of strange
things with my iPhone. For example, if my call drops my radio app starts
playing and I have o manually stop it unless I turn the headset off then of
course the radio app sees a headset disconnect and stops.
Another example is the ability to stay connected to multiple devices is
far superior on the voyager. If I pair my headset to my phone and watch the
jawbone loses one or the other repeatedly. Plantronics very infrequent. Does
anyone else feel that Jawbone spent more effort on appearance than function?
Maybe that’s over stating but is anyone else familiar with both having the same
experience? Wonder what people think.

Thanks
Scott
