This is as far as I got with it: VLC player will play the WMV files just fine. For this, I'm grateful. However, when I go through all the steps to convert the audio portion of that WM file to an MP3 file, what I get is an MPG file, which Itunes won't play and which Quicktime Player insists is not a movie file. When I manually change the extension to MP3, nothing will play it. :) So, I've a partial solution, but not sure what I'm doing wrong during the conversion process. At least I can play it. :)
