Hank. Since you don't seem to want to take the computer to apple, you really do not have anything to loos if you try Scots method, which has worked for me using slot loding drives, along with alex who used to be on this list.
Does anyone kno if the mac mini's have the little hole next to the drive like some of the imacs do that let you eject the disk manually by poking it?
