Hello group, I have been exploring various options on streaming music to our 4th Gen Apple TV. Home sharing is working pretty well, though it’s a bummer my MBA needs to be open & awake. Is it the same case with Plex? Is Plex in the cloud or does my MBA need to be open & awake as well?
In related to this topic, has anyone turned an older Mac or use a Mac Mini as a dedicated iTunes home sharing system? I can visualize a Mac Mini always on, preferably without a display, but I know that opens up an entire other can of worms. ;) Thanks for the words of tech wisdom. Traci PS.
