I have a friend who has to use her computer to answer calls made to her iPhone. The computer is set up to do this and sometimes it works fine. It has been problematic for several weeks now. The iPhone is nearby, but when she answers the iPhone with the Mac she can not hear the caller. Callers can hear her with no difficulty.
She uses a set of EarPods on the Mac, and they work fine for other things and when used with the iPhone. In system preferences all looks as it should with nothing muted and volume is not zeroed. I can’t figure out what happens to cause this behavior and how to correct it when it occurs. It seemed to fix itself the first time it happened, but not this time. She has severe physical disabilities so this is a very necessary thing for her. If she is using the computer, she cannot use the iPhone. Both the phone settings and the mac settings appear fine. She is signed in through her Gmail address, obviously since she can actually answer the calls, but not hear them. Any info would be appreciated.
