Appreciate it but as you said Onix does not seem to do what I am trying
to do as I installed it earlier and it seemed to do everything except
tell you what is taking up space, and unfortunately disk utility which
you would think would tell you what is taking up space on your computer
does not do that. This is mind boggling as there is next to nothing in
my music photos downloads or documents and applications yet the drive is
84% full with only 6 gigs free so I am assuming it is something in the
services folder that should not be there but I cannot find it very
strange. Thanks,

Also if you are willing to see what’s taking up most disk storage
space disk utility might do the job. Onyx is more gear towards file
optimization and disk cleanup.
Hope it helps,

Unfortunately I could not find the program you mentioned and just
bought one that of course does not work with VO, so back to ground
zero here so if anyone knows of an accessible program that will tell
you what is taking up space on your computer do let me know just
something basic as this is getting ridiculous as it should not be
this hard and take this long to find out what is taking up space on a
mac. Ridiculous that you even have to get a third party program to do
this.

Hi!
There is a program called Drive Pulse.
I think it can do what you want and for me it was quite accessible.
I don’t remember their site now but i can check it out for you if
you don’t want to search on google yourself.

Hey all,

Had not fired up my Mac Air in awhile and I do not keep that much
on it but all of the sudden it is almost full and I have no clue
what is taking up so much space. Does anyone know of an
accessible program that will analyze your hard drive and tell you
what is taking up so much space. I was surprised to learn they
suggest a third party program to do this, and there are a ton of
them but not sure which one may be accessible. Any advice is
appreciated. Thanks,
